Kasha - Rue des Récollets, Paris, France

Are you in Paris and want to binge on the traditional and authentic French crepes? Then Kasha is the place you should pay a visit. It certainly satisfied my craving for some delicious crepes and I'm sure you will not be disappointed. A cute little tapas bar located in the Rue des Recollets suburb, it looks like a normal cafe from the outside but inside, you will find like minded crepe lovers everywhere and a very friendly decor. We were recommended this place by our local AirBnB host and I couldn't thank him enough.

Location

Located in Rue des Recollets suburb of Paris. It is easily accessible by public transport with hubs like CPAM de Paris, Chateau Landon, Gare de l'Est all in close proximity.

Food and Drinks

As this place specializes in crepes, I would highly recommend trying out as many varieties as you can. It will fill your belly to the brim! The quality of food, the taste and the presentation were all excellent and superb. My personal favourite was certainly the Chocolate Banana.

Service

The staff were so friendly. We didn't speak French very well and they were so accommodating. They explained to us clearly on what was in each dish and gave their recommendations. The dishes came out surprisingly quickly even when the restaurant was full, which was amazing. Kudos to the chef!

Overall Comments

Our visit took place before the COVID lockdown. It makes us realise the places we miss the most. Kasha is definitely a place that I miss in Paris. If I ever go back to Paris, I will definitely eat there again. Please feel free to share your experiences of this restaurant in the comments below when you visit it after lockdowns. Take care and enjoy!

Sabatini Italian Restaurant - Exeter, UK

Do you have a soft spot for authentic Italian food? The pasta, pizza and lots of cheese? Then you have to pay a visit to this wonderful new kid on the block on the high streets of Exeter city: Sabatini Italian Restaurant. Read more to explore more of this new addition in town. What is Sabatini? Sabatini only opened its doors in May 2021, just a few days before we visited. We had no idea it was a brand new restaurant as we only stopped by Exeter to grab lunch during our vacation in Devon. We had no idea where to go for lunch, as all the restaurants were full since indoor dining was only just allowed in the UK. We randomly just called this place at 1pm and asked if a table was available, and to our luck there was! We felt bad for dining here with our wellington boots as it was a fine dining place :) Sabatini - Interior View Sabatini - Interior View Sabatini - Interior View Location Located in the heart of Exeter city, it is quite easy to find. Parking will not be next to the restaurant b

The Harbour Inn - Folkestone, Kent, UK

The Harbour Inn is an ideal place if you want a full course meal or just want to chill out and have a few drinks. Visited this pub on a cold and chilly afternoon just when outdoor dining was allowed again in UK. Interior Bar Area Location Located right on the harbour, it is central and easy to get to. There is a large pay and display carpark where you can park with ease and walk here in approx. five minutes.  Food and Drinks There is a wide range of food and drinks available. We wanted something warm and quick so we went for chips and a burger. We also changed our plans at the last minute and decided to do a takeaway instead of outdoor dining. The staff accommodated our request with ease with no issues. The drinks were also good. Service The service for food and drink was absolutely fine. Although, I would think that some outdoor heaters should be arranged as it was absolutely freezing to sit outside that day. The Alchemist - Cocktail Bar and Restaurant, Liverpool, UK

Great ambience, excellent cocktails and a good night out? Then Alchemist Liverpool is a place to be. Located in Liverpool Central, this cocktail bar is a must visit for a good night out. Don't forget to book your table to save any disappointment, as this place gets booked out easily. The bar area - Alchemist, Liverpool Location Located in central Liverpool, it is quite easy to get to get to. Its a short walk from the main high street. One thing about such central location, is that it gets full easily on busy nights. Food and Drinks The specialty of this place is its cocktails, so if you want to try out some of that then you have come at the right place. Food is also great, but I was so indulged in cocktails that I totally forgot about food. You will get to mix different cocktails, which will feel like conducting a science experiment. Well worth it! Service No problems with service as it was excellent overall. Staff were super friendly and catered to us well. They asked for all our
