Kasha - Rue des Récollets, Paris, France

Are you in Paris and want to binge on the traditional and authentic French crepes? Then Kasha is the place you should pay a visit. It certainly satisfied my craving for some delicious crepes and I'm sure you will not be disappointed. A cute little tapas bar located in the Rue des Recollets suburb, it looks like a normal cafe from the outside but inside, you will find like minded crepe lovers everywhere and a very friendly decor. We were recommended this place by our local AirBnB host and I couldn't thank him enough.

Location

Located in Rue des Recollets suburb of Paris. It is easily accessible by public transport with hubs like CPAM de Paris, Chateau Landon, Gare de l'Est all in close proximity.

Food and Drinks

As this place specializes in crepes, I would highly recommend trying out as many varieties as you can. It will fill your belly to the brim! The quality of food, the taste and the presentation were all excellent and superb. My personal favourite was certainly the Chocolate Banana.

Service

The staff were so friendly. We didn't speak French very well and they were so accommodating. They explained to us clearly on what was in each dish and gave their recommendations. The dishes came out surprisingly quickly even when the restaurant was full, which was amazing. Kudos to the chef!

Overall Comments

Our visit took place before the COVID lockdown. It makes us realise the places we miss the most. Kasha is definitely a place that I miss in Paris. If I ever go back to Paris, I will definitely eat there again. Please feel free to share your experiences of this restaurant in the comments below when you visit it after lockdowns. Take care and enjoy!

Sabatini Italian Restaurant - Exeter, UK

Do you have a soft spot for authentic Italian food? The pasta, pizza and lots of cheese? Then you have to pay a visit to this wonderful new kid on the block on the high streets of Exeter city: Sabatini Italian Restaurant. Read more to explore more of this new addition in town. What is Sabatini? Sabatini only opened its doors in May 2021, just a few days before we visited. We had no idea it was a brand new restaurant as we only stopped by Exeter to grab lunch during our vacation in Devon. We had no idea where to go for lunch, as all the restaurants were full since indoor dining was only just allowed in the UK. We randomly just called this place at 1pm and asked if a table was available, and to our luck there was! We felt bad for dining here with our wellington boots as it was a fine dining place :) Sabatini - Interior View Sabatini - Interior View Sabatini - Interior View Location Located in the heart of Exeter city, it is quite easy to find.
