Galbi Korean BBQ Restaurant - Southsea, Portsmouth, UK

Galbi Korean BBQ is a cosy restaurant in the heart of Southsea, Portsmouth. A valuable addition to this city's food scene, you can find all kinds of delicious Korean food and the joy and pleasure of using the BBQ to cook your meat in front of you. We only discovered this place a week ago, but now go there every time we have a craving for some Korean BBQ or are really hungry.

Location and Parking.

Located at 8 Albert Road, Southsea. It is a busy road with limited parking. We found parking on Albert Grove, which is a street just off Albert Road and only a short walk away from the restaurant. Note that on this road, only the permit holders are allowed to park from 0430-1830. After that, anyone can use the remaining places. The street is quite narrow so drive carefully.

Interior and Ambience.

The dining area has a very calm and enjoyable ambience, perfect for gulping down food and having conversations. The lighting is not harsh on your eyes and also allows you to see clearly the things on your table. All tables have adequate lighting and there are no dark spots.

Food and Drinks.

All the dishes that we had were good and unique. My personal favourite is the Kimchi Fried Rice. The main attraction is of course the BBQ so don't be shy and get your meats sizzling.
